Welcome to the Office of the County Administrator

The County Administrator is the chief administrative officer of the County in charge of overseeing day-to-day operations. The Administrator is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners to carry out the policies and procedures established by the Board. With Commission approval, the County Administrator works with the Assistant County Administrator, as well as department directors, to manage the day-to-day operations of County government.

One of the major responsibilities of the County Administrator is the preparation of the annual operating budget for the County. Under the direction of Acting County Administrator Taryn Kryzda and Assistant County Administrator Ted Garrod, 13 departments combine their efforts to provide county residents with needed services, information, and programs.
